My name is Nasa! I'm part of a system of alters with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) with have Multiple Sclerosis (MS)!

I'm hoping that we can help educate people on the stigma surrounding both DID and MS!

What is Dissociative Identity Disorder?

Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) is the existence of two or more distinct identities (or “personality states”). The distinct identities are accompanied by changes in behavior, memory and thinking. The signs and symptoms may be observed by others or reported by the individual.

What is Multiple Sclerosis?

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a potentially disabling disease of the brain and spinal cord (central nervous system). In MS, the immune system attacks the protective sheath (myelin) that covers nerve fibers and causes communication problems between your brain and the rest of your body. Eventually, the disease can cause permanent damage or deterioration of the nerves
